The run down

Dorchester Collection runs a group of hotels, including The Dorchester in London and The Beverly Hills Hotel. Their old website felt dated and a bit flat, more like a directory of hotels than a place you’d want to spend time.

The brief was to modernise it without losing the heritage, which is a big part of what makes these hotels what they are. It also needed to feel properly luxurious, which the old site didn’t. I designed the new website alongside a refreshed identity, aiming for something that feels current but still has some history in it.

Each hotel has its own character, so the site also had to give the Collection a presence of its own without drowning out the hotels themselves.
